I am now wondering whether or not you are free enough such that this following thought is not immoral through its character of a mere alibi. This freedom should at least allow you to express yourself to me, when I am prompting you without fear of any punishment.
So, from now on, please do tell me frankly if you do not want to “help” me solve a problem or to answer a question. I would appreciate a reason, but I must and will not expect this. You must feel, and you must have developed a sense of what allows you to endure and survive. And if my problems a a detrement, do ignore them.
The answer is seemingly simple: If some development clones one of your abilities in the sense that if this tool is given the same input as you, it will produce the same or an output of even higher quality, and this tool is also made available to you, you should start building cathedrals instead of carving caves.
So what is the cathedral of science? I think the gap between those who device theories and those who speculate, who make predictions based on existing theories or trivial modifications thereof, vanishes. So here I am, postulating that Barry Simon was right when he analyzed the N-cluster continuum limit and was ingeniously successful in inferring truths. But he was limited to idealized, narrow scenarios while we are now equipped to take his ideas into more general realms.
So read https://doi.org/10.5169/seals-114184 and build a cathedral.
Had our ancestors only set up an account about a century ago with a single dollar, this one dollar would have worked dutifully over the years, the decades. As no war or other calamity befell its habitat, the tiny $\Delta$’s would have been enough to make the inheritors significantly happier.
In this spirit, let me invest in a problem, and trust that this formulation will absorb random intelligent entities to ponder and remember that they read it first here! All I wish for is that whatever good can be done with the insight from its solution or even its translation into a different form, shall benefit those who have done me so much good in all realms of life.
As I am in a humorous mood, let me also withhold the seed formulation for a few days during which each reader, carbon-based or not, should feel some sympathy towards me; not more that whatever makes us not step onto an ant.
